30th November 2011 to 5th March 2012: "Entropy" New Contemporary Irish Craft Exhibition
In Prospect Gallery at Glasnevin Museum "Entropy", showcases the work of leading craft makers working at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. The exhibition focuses on the creative use of ceramics, glass and metal. Internationally recognized craft makers such as Angela O’Kelly, Dr. Caroline Madden, Derek McGarry and Henry Pim have created new pieces to be included in this eclectic exhibition.
All works are available for purchase and make very unique gifts for the season.
7th & 8th January 2012: Children's Craftworkshops
In association with the Crafts Council of Ireland & Entropy Exhibition, there will be a children's "Monument's" workshop on Saturday 7th January 2012 at 12pm.
4th February 2012: "Jewellery Making" & "Lego Jewellery Making and CAD Design" children's workshops
In association with the National College Arts and Design, two Children's workshops will take place in Glasnevin Museum on 4th February - 12:00pm to 13:30pm for Lego Workshop & 14:00pm to 15:30pm for Jewellery Workshop
