GLASNEVIN CEMETERY - ANGELS’ PLOT WRITTEN SUBMISSION DEADLINE
The deadline for written submission has now closed. Glasnevin Trust wishes to thank all parents who have written to us and met with us to discuss the renovation of the new Angels’ plot at Glasnevin Cemetery.
Many issues were discussed and many suggesting were put forward, consideration will be given to all the proposals submitted and will make our recomendations known in the coming weeks.
The overwhelming consensus was that work needs to be done on the plot. The timeline of works over the coming weeks and months are:
- The large plaques, on the boundary of the plot, will be removed and reset
- The tress in the centre of the plot will be removed
All these works will be completed before Christmas.
No works on the surface of the plot will be started until the new year.
