Tourism Marketing Assistant offered through JobBridge (Unpaid)
The intern will gain practical experience in a variety of functions across the Marketing department. Skills/Experience developed will include:
- Ensuring brand website content is fresh and up to date
- Develop and maintain working relationships with Tourism agencies and destination management companies
- Development of promotional campaigns
- Updating and monitoring of Social media sites/pages
- Making recommendations based on analysis of website traffic statistics
- Providing administrative support to the Group Commercial & Marketing Manager
- Assisting with mail-outs to customers, sponsors, funders, etc
- Media database management and development
- Other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Group Commercial & Marketing Manager
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Completed Marketing/Tourism studies
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft package of products
- Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ability to multi task and prioritise workload
- Creative, proactive and great attention to detail
Failte Ireland marketing training will be provided for the successful candidate

Monuments Sales Assistant offered through JobBridge (unpaid)
This role will allow the successful candidate access to a very fast paced, sales focused environment. Duties will include:
- Answer telephone, take messages and deal with general Monument queries
- Dealing with customers & potential customers
- Posting out brochures & leaflets to potential customers
- Printing pictures of new headstones erected
- Transferring all receipts into excel spreadsheet for weekly cash lodgement
- Maintenance of all displays and arrangements
The ideal candidates will work directly with the Monuments Manager who will delegate duties on a daily basis and should have the following attributes:
- Good computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel etc...
- Be able to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi task and prioritise workload
